These booking terms are here to ensure everything runs smoothly from the moment you enquire until you walk down the aisle. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

Booking Terms & Policies

  • Bookings are accepted up to 12 months in advance.

  • Your wedding date is secured once your $100 booking fee has been received. This booking fee is non-refundable, non-transferable and will be deducted from your final invoice.

  • The remaining balance is due the day prior to your wedding day.

Booking Your Date

Minimum Booking Requirements

To ensure I can provide the highest level of service, the following minimum booking requirements apply:

  • Mobile bridal bookings require a minimum of four adult hairstyling services, including the bride.

  • Bookings with fewer than four adult services incur a minimum spend of $800, excluding travel.

  • Smaller bookings may be accommodated at The Suite, Highett, subject to availability.

Bridal Trial

I highly recommend booking a bridal trial before your wedding day.

It's the perfect opportunity for us to create your bridal look together, make any adjustments, and ensure you feel completely confident before your wedding day.

Trials take place at The Suite in Highett.

To ensure travel is planned efficiently, the following travel policies apply:

  • Travel for mobile bookings is calculated at $1.25 per kilometre with a minimum travel fee of $50.

  • For locations more than two hours from Mount Eliza, overnight accommodation will be required and discussed during the booking process.

  • Destination bookings over two hours from Mount Eliza require a minimum of five adult hairstyling services.

  • Parking fees, tolls and valet parking (where required) are additional to travel costs.

Travel

To ensure everyone is ready on time, bookings are generally limited to eight hairstyling services, depending on your morning timeline.

For larger bridal parties, an additional stylist or assistant may be required. Any additional fees will always be discussed with you before your booking is confirmed.

Bridal Party Size

An early morning fee applies to bookings requiring a start time before 7:00am. This is calculated at an additional $50 per hour.

A 10% surcharge applies to bookings held on public holidays and public holiday weekends.

Early Morning & Public Holidays

Wedding plans sometimes change, and I'll always do my best to accommodate them where possible.

If a member of your bridal party no longer requires hairstyling within 14 days of your wedding date, the original invoice total will remain unchanged, as your wedding date and time have been reserved exclusively for your booking.

Additional services can be added at any stage, subject to availability.

Changes to your Booking

To help your morning run as smoothly as possible, I kindly ask that:

  • Hair is clean and completely dry before styling.

  • A well-lit area with access to power is available.

  • Your final timeline has been confirmed prior to the wedding day.

  • Any changes are communicated as early as possible.

  • There is adequate bench space for tools

On the Day

Allergies & Sensitivities

Please let me know before your appointment if you have any allergies, sensitivities or scalp conditions.

While every care is taken, By Teegan Hair cannot accept responsibility for any allergic reactions to products used during your appointment.

Photography

I love capturing the beautiful hairstyles created throughout the morning.

Photos and videos may be used across my website, portfolio and social media unless you let me know beforehand that you would prefer your images remain private.

All booking fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, including cancellations due to personal circumstances.

Should you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 14 days before your wedding – booking fee retained.

  • 7–14 days before your wedding – 50% of the total invoice.

  • Less than 7 days before your wedding – 100% of the total invoice.

Cancellations

In the unlikely event that illness or circumstances beyond my control prevent me from attending your booking, every effort will be made to arrange a trusted replacement hairstylist.

If this isn't possible, all monies paid (excluding services already provided) will be refunded.
