FAQ
Planning your wedding or special event comes with plenty of questions. Here are some of the most common ones I receive. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
-
Bookings are accepted up to 12 months in advance. I recommend enquiring as soon as you've secured your wedding date or event, particularly if you're getting married during peak wedding season or on a Saturday, as these dates book quickly.
-
Yes! I provide mobile hairstyling throughout Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas. Travel fees apply to all mobile bookings and are calculated from Mount Eliza. Individual appointments are also available at The Suite in Highett. I have a minimum requirement of 4 adults for travel.

While a bridal trial isn't essential, I highly recommend one. It's a wonderful opportunity for us to explore your vision, refine your chosen style, and ensure you feel completely confident before your wedding day.
If you'd prefer to meet before committing, you're more than welcome to book a bridal trial before securing your wedding date. Please note that your wedding date will remain available to other enquiries until your booking fee has been paid. Unfortunately, I cannot hold dates without a confirmed booking.
Bridal trials are held at The Suite in Highett and are typically recommended 2–3 months before your wedding day.
-
Yes. Please arrive with clean, completely dry hair that has been washed either the night before or the morning of your appointment. Avoid using heavy oils or styling products unless we've discussed them beforehand, as clean hair provides the best foundation for long-lasting styling.
-
The bride is generally allocated 1 hour and 15 minutes - 2 hours (depending on hairstyle), while bridesmaids and other members of the bridal party are usually allocated 60 minutes each. A personalised timeline will be created for every wedding to ensure everyone is ready with plenty of time before the ceremony.
-
Not always, but I often recommend clip-in extensions to achieve added fullness, longevity and shape—even if you already have long hair. If you're unsure, I'm happy to discuss whether extensions would benefit your chosen style during your trial or consultation.
-
Absolutely. Alongside bridal hairstyling, I also offer hairstyling for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, wedding guests, special events, black-tie occasions, editorial work and commercial projects.
-
Absolutely. Hair accessories such as combs, clips and pins are fitted as part of your appointment.
As brides are usually getting dressed after hairstyling is complete, I don't typically stay to place your veil. Instead, I'll prepare your veil and show a bridesmaid, family member or photographer exactly how to insert it securely once you're dressed. This allows your morning to continue smoothly while ensuring your veil is positioned exactly as intended.
-
Once I receive your enquiry, I'll confirm my availability and send through a personalised quote. If you'd like to proceed, your booking will be secured with a booking fee, and I'll guide you through the next steps leading up to your wedding or event.

My Booking Terms & Policies outline everything from booking fees and travel to cancellations and payment information. I encourage all clients to read through them before securing their booking, and I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have. You can find my booking terms here.
Still have a question? If there's anything else you'd like to know, I'd love to hear from you. Get in touch via the enquiry form and I'll be happy to help.
